SMART SURGICAL ASSISTANT SYSTEM
The Aqua Med soft company has implemented an smart surgical assistant system to simulate the surgical process in the treatment design stage.
One of the problems of surgeons is access to medical images of patients during surgery. In addition, it is essential to observe the images (fMRI, MRI, DTI, and tumor) analyzed by the medical team during the treatment design phase.
Also, the issues discussed in surgeries include maintaining the operating room's sterile environment, increasing the surgeon's concentration, and reducing the operation time.
For a more efficient and accessible use of this product, the engineering unit designed and built a suitable medical device. Where the Kinect sensor, monitor, central processor, and microphone are placed, the designed software is installed on the central processor so that it can receive the voice and movement commands of the surgeon and apply them to the medical images.
